Local Community & Economic Plan

Consultation is open on the draft Local Economic and Community Plan for Laois. This will be a really important plan that will set the strategy for the promotion of local economic and community development in the county for the next five years.

The plan will be used to guide future activity and funding streams in the County. Before work starts on the content of the plan, we are interested in hearing from individuals, businesses and community groups about what should be included in the Plan.

Public meetings have been held, and submissions are being accepted from interested groups or individuals until February 24.
