THE LATE WINNIFRED GALBRAITH
The death took place on Friday April 27 at her residence of Mrs Winnifred Galbraith (nee Turner) Castlefleming, Errill. She was pre-deceased by her husband John. Sympathy is extended to her daughter Hillary, son Raymond, grandchildren, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, relatives, friends and neighbours. Following prayers at her home on Sunday April 29 she was removed to St Andrew’s Church, Rathdowney for service. She was buried in Castlefleming Churchyard. May she rest in peace.
ERRILL GAA LOTTO
The numbers drawn on May 7 were 6–9–17 and 21. The jackpot was not won. There were five match three winners each receiving €20. The jackpot on May 14 will be €9,600. Tickets can be purchased in local shop and pubs, from local promoters and GAA committee members.
ERRILL GROUP WATER SCHEME
There will be a committee meeting of Errill Group Water Scheme on Thursday night May 17 in St Bernadette’s Hall at 8.30pm. All committee members are asked to attend.
THE LATE ELIZABETH FLANAGAN
The death took place at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise on May 8 of Elizabeth Flanagan, nee Keane, Clonburren. She was pre-deceased by her husband Michael and her daughter Betty. Sympathy is extended to her daughters Marie and Angela, son Michael, sister Peg, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She reposed at her residence and was removed from there to Our Lady Queen of the Universe Church Errill on Thursday morning last following funeral prayers. After funeral mass burial took place in Bealady Cemetery. May she rest in peace.
Friends of Camp presented a cheque from the CAMP fundraising night which was held on Easter Saturday. Committee is Noelle Bergin, John Donegan, Rosie Fairbrother, Nicole Joyce, Siobhan Deegan and Liz McPhearson.
A big thank you to all who purchased tickets, turned up on the night, for donating spot prizes, everyone who helped out and contributed in any way. We thank John Fitzpatrick for the use of Fitzpatricks Lounge and the staff.
Catherine and PJ Rafter have expressed thanks on behalf of the LPI to everyone who supported and gave spot prizes to the recent Lyrics Board held in Ray’s Bar, Errill. A total of €1,340 was raised on the night. Thanks to everyone.
