BLESSING OF PETS
To coincide with the Feast of St Francis, Patron Saint of animals, birds and all pets, there will be a special blessing of pets on Thursday October 4 at 6pm at the parish centre.

NEW BOOK LAUNCH
Fr Liam Lawton has just published a new book, ‘Where God Hides’. Fr Liam will sign copies of his new book after Mass at Saturday October 6 at the parish centre.

There was no winner. Four lucky dips of €25 each were won by Lauren Nolan, Paddy Dowling, John Fitzpatrick and Julie Farrell. The seller’s prize of €25 was won by Tiernan Deane. Next jackpot €6,200.
TEXAS HOLD’EM
Killeshin FC is running a Texas Hold’em poker night in the Glenside Lounge on Friday October 12. Registration takes place at 8pm and costs €20.

Congratulations to Gerard Ralph and St Fiacc’s House on winning first prize in Tidy Towns Industrial Premises, Garages and Residential Homes Category and were also overall winners of the Perpetual Cup.
