We had a fantastic turn out for the 2nd fun run of our series. It was a great sport and social occasion with over 220 participants. Thanks to Shem Delaney for providing an ideal venue for registrations and afterwards and to all who brought sandwiches and treats. Our next fun run is in Cullohill on Wed 8th May at 7:30pm. With the large crowd they received for their recent John Murray walk we hope to be in for another big turnout. Training continues Tues evenings at 7:30 in the GAA pitch and there is also a beginners group on Thursday evenings from 7pm at the Manor Hotel. Newcomers always welcome.

The walkways at Cashel continue to be a wonderful asset to the local community. The gardens are maturing well and with the good weather due to us it will be a wonderful amenity to make use of. The increasing numbers of joggers and runners at the walkways augors well for the upcoming womens minimarathon on 3rd June. The cuppa and chat in the Rambling House is an added attraction. Anyone interested in running and raising funds for Rockview Walkways would be very welcome. Just give your name to Mick at the gardens.

Date for your diary. This June bank holiday there will be a family fun weekend taking place in Ballyroan Gaa grounds. There will be a number of Juvenile games and adult football games and there will be plenty of our former players returning to play. The Scully and McEvoy cups will be played for between the teams. There will be plenty to entertain all the family and all are invited.
