There was no winner of the jackpot on the last draw which took place on April 22. The next jackpot will be €3,000. Tickets can be purchased in Walsh’s shop, Ray’s Bar, Dowling’s Bar and from local promoters.
LAOIS CLEAN
Laois Clean Up Week took place last week. Almost sixty bags of rubbish were collected by AES as a result of volunteers helping out. The Tidy Towns wish to thank sincerely all those who gave up their time to make this a success. The pupils from 4th, 5th and 6th class played their part on Friday morning last by collecting litter from School Road to the village.
A sincere thank you to the kind passer-by who treated them all to an ice cream afterwards.
