There was great excitement in Raheen recently, when Colm Gooch Cooper took time out from his busy schedule to visit Tobar an Léinn school.

There was great excitement in Raheen recently, when Colm Gooch Cooper took time out from his busy schedule to visit Tobar an Léinn school.

The recipient of four All-Ireland medals and seven All Star awards answered questions from a selection of pupils and captivated his young audience with stories of his involvement in Gaelic football both with his club, and his county.

School principal and fellow Kerryman, Seán MacGearailt, presented Colm with a specially-commissioned jersey bearing the school crest, as a memento of his visit to Tobar an Léinn.
