The opening of the year Mass for Killeshin NS will take place this Friday 20 September at 11.30am in Holy Cross and for St Fiacc’s NS on Thursday 26 September at 11.30am in St Clare’s. All families and members of the parish community are welcome to join in praying for God’s Blessings on our schools for the year ahead.

Killeshin FC .Lotto results for Sept 08, numbers drawn were 01, 06, 14 and 21 and there was no Jackpot winner. The €25 lucky dip winners were Pat Whelan, Aidan Owens, Lee Brennan and Farmer Byrne Sellers prize went to Catherine Doyle. Lotto now stands at €11,200.

PARISH CHOIRS
St Clare’s Children’s Choir practice on Monday nights from 4.30pm to 5.30pm in Parish Centre, please note change of time. Choir is open to all primary school children and First year in secondary school.
Parish Youth Choir practice each from 12.45pm to 2pm. The choir is open to all secondary school students and young adults. Musicians are also very welcome.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD
The Sunday school has resumed after the 11.30am Mass in St Clare’s. Invited are all children aged between Four years and First class to take part. The aim is to introduce the children to the Mass by taking part in activities appropriate to their age. These activities will take place in the parish centre. The children will leave at the start of Mass and will be supervised by adults and students from our second level schools. The children will return to Mass at the ‘Our Father’.

THURSDAY MORNING CLUB
Thursday Morning Club has resumed after 10am Mass in St Clare’s. Parishioners are invited into the Parish centre after Mass for a cuppa and a chat.
YOUNG READERS COURSE
Course for young readers has resumed from 7pm to 8pm in the Parish Centre and will run for a further three Monday nights. Any secondary school student who would like to become a reader in our churches is welcome to attend.
PRE-BAPTISM MEETINGS
Next meeting on Monday 04 November from 7 to 8.30pm in the Parish Centre. All parents presenting their child for Baptism during the next few months are requested to attend one of the meetings.
HOLY LAND PILGRIMAGE
Graiguecullen/Killeshin Parish Pilgrimage to the Holy Land will take place from 23 April 2014 for 8 nights and the Leader will be Fr John Dunphy. Four nights in Tiberias and four nights in Jerusalem.
