JFL school writing project in Raheen

As part of the inaugural James Fintan Lalor School to be held in the Dunamaise Arts a book will be launched documenting and celebrating the work of the children of third and fourth class of Tobar an Leinn National School in Raheen.

As part of the inaugural James Fintan Lalor School to be held in the Dunamaise Arts a book will be launched documenting and celebrating the work of the children of third and fourth class of Tobar an Leinn National School in Raheen.

The James Fintan Lalor School Committee, in association with the Laois Arts Office, commissioned this project with Laois Writer Ann Egan.

The children of Tobar an Leinn School worked with Ann Egan, re-imagining the writings of James Fintan Lalor in a creative and thought-provoking approach to the Laois born patriot, Land Agitator and Political Activist born in Raheen in 1807.
