Parents Assoc

Ballinakill Parents Association are holding an afternoon of Bingo on Sunday the 6th of April at 3pm in the Old School Community Hall to raise funds for the National School. Approximately €1,200 in prizes. Double books with sheets €15, Single book with sheets €7.50, Half book with sheets €4. There will also be a raffle on the day with numerous prizes, tickets €2 each or 3 for €5. Please support.

Cards

There was 8 tables. Winners on 11 games were Paddy Delaney and Willie Gorman. Runners up on 10 games were Paddy and Tony Walsh, Michael Carter and Tom Lalor, Ann and Joe Cass. Raffle winners were Ann Cass, Billy Kirby, Mick Higgins, Noreen Ryan.

Spink Development

Spink Community Development Association present Laois ICA Federation Choir, Knock School Choir and St. Lazarian’s Church Choir in St. Lazarian’s Church Knock on Sunday the 13th of April at 7.30pm. Admission €5. A night not to be missed.

Whist Drive

Monster Easter Whist Drive in Spink Community Hall on Sunday 6th of April at 3pm. Admission €5. Refreshments served.

AThletics

Ballyroan Abbeyleix & District AC are beginning their popular fitness series of fun run/walks. The first one, a 5k, takes place in Ballyroan on Wed April 9 at 7:30pm and will take place every 2nd Wednesday following in Ballinakill, Cullohill, Abbeyleix and the final 10k in Ballyroan June 4. The fun runs will increase by 1k each run to help people reach the 10k goal. More info will be available on our Facebook page.

Active Retirement

New members welcome. Meet in the Old Community Hall at 1pm every Wednesday.
