The bus will leave Ballyroan from 8am - 8.30am approximately.

‘Work4You’ set up by Acquired Brain Injury Ireland provides a free vocational assessment service for individuals who have an acquired brain injury and would like assistance and guidance in returning to work, training or education.

It is free to anyone with an acquired brain injury and in receipt of a payment from the Dept. of Social Protection. If you are interested in the service or would like more information, Work4You are holding a Pop-Up Information Stand in Abbeyleix Library on Friday 28th February 2014 between 12pm – 1.30pm.

Rockview Walkways welcomes local people to an organised walk on Thursdays @11am. Assemble in Car Park. The walk is suitable for senior citizens as well as people with special needs, no steep gradients or uneven surfaces.

Tickets are now on sale from any committee member of Ballyroan Abbey Gaa Club.

There is a top prize of €10,000 plus numerous other prizes to be won every month from March to June.

The cost is €130 but this includes membership of the club and can be paid in instalments of €32.50 p/m.
