Camross Vintage Club road run and novice ploughing day will be held on March 30. The run will depart from Camross village at 12pm. Regrestration will be in The Poets Cottage prior to run. All tractors must be fitted with an anti-rollbar that are taking part in the road run. The novice ploughing will begin directly after the run which will be held be in the field behind St Fergal’s Church which is located in the centre of Camross. Camross Community Employment scheme now have a Community Support worker for the parish of Camross.
This person is available to people in the parish that would like some one to call to them and help with their every day household routine. They will also provide support to someone who is caring for a loved one.

Camross Choir Groups would like to say a sincere thanks to all those who supported the Christmas Carol service at the Kyle shopping centre. The proceeds of the event were donated to the Phillippines flood fund and our own local appeal of Robbie Phelan fund Castletown.
The Choir enjoyed their annual meal at the Roscrea Golf club. Many thanks to our Choir Mistriss Patricia Kilmartin, for her continued commitment to the Choir.
Choir practice takes place every Wednesday night 8-9pm and new members are always welcome.
