Late Mary Walsh Ballaghmore

The death took place on Wednesday last of Mary Walsh (Nee Hughs) of Ballaghmore and formerly of Killina, Rahan Tullamore County Offaly.

Mary had been unwell for some time but continued her great pastime of playing cards right up until recently. On Wednesday last August 13 Mary passed away in the loving care of the staff of Tullamore Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Having reposed at Doyle’s Funeral Home Roscrea on Thursday and Friday her remains were removed to St Moluas Church Ballaghmore for 11am requiem mass on Saturday morning and following the ceremony her remains were taken to her native Offaly to Mucklagh for funeral service.

Mary is deeply regretted by her loving family, her only son Gearoid helped Camross win several U21 championships but in 2006 he scored ten points for Kyle when they defeated Camross in the junior final.

Mary’s sister Nellie Dunican is the popular reader on Midlands Radio 3.

To all her family and friends deepest sympathy is extended.

Speedy recovery

The community extends best wishes to Martin Bergin formerly of Glencondra and presently Donaghmore who recently underwent a major operation in Tullamore Hospital. His many cousins and friends in Camross wish Martin a speedy recovery.
