Scoil Bhríde is collecting old phones in efforts to win an i-pad. The competition is in association with Irish Autism Ireland. Please give phones to any pupil or drop them into the Fr Shortall room after mass.

SOCIAL SERVICES

The committee thank all who came to the Christmas party, a wonderful day was enjoyed. Thanks to Marie’s Catering, Rock On Paddy, those who sponsored prizes and put up decorations and the person who made the fabulous cake.

A document about the family in crisis was received by parishes worldwide from Pope Francis. If anyone wishes to take part in a discussion, leave your name in the sacristy after mass or call Fr O’Reilly on 864-8030.

CCDA meeting REPORT

Elections in September 2014. Money is needed for a new heating system in the Gym. Fas have two new workers. The social services dinner served 98 people. Clonaslee received many certs at the Community Forum awards. Congrats to Jason Finnerty on his book. A subcommittee is set up to organise an American Tea Party. Ladies Night is on in late March. A social night for CCDA members is set for January 29 in the Heritage Centre. Next meeting on January 13.
