A member of a highly respected farming family the late Bridie was a truly lovely lady and will be missed by her family and many friends. Bridie was involved in the Durrow ICA for many decades and was a very keen card player. A regular in the town of Durrow Bridie was known to everyone for her friendliness and her great character. She will be truly missed in Durrow. Bridie was in her 87th year and has failing health over the past while. Bridie was predeceased by her husband Sean and is survived by her daughters Betty, Mary and Catherine, sons John, Martin and Thomas, sisters Julie, Mary, Kathleen and Claire, daughters in law, sons in law, brother in law, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, relatives and wide circle of friends.
The huge attendance at her wake, removal and funeral mass in the Church of the Assumption, Ballyouskill was a testament to the high regard Bridie was held within the community and to offer to her family their hearth felt sympathy at their great loss. Sincerest sympathy is extended to the Bergin family on their sad loss.
