COOMBE HOSPITAL FUNDRAISER

Jimmy, Pamela and Lilly O’Connell would like to thank everyone who took part in the Tug of War fundraiser on August 3 and raised €3276.87 for the Coombe hospital. A special thanks to Joe Gilmartin and Joanne Davy who helped organise such a great day. They would like to thank all who gave sponsorship and all had been appreciated.

SYMPATHY Mary O’Dea

Sympathy is extended to Mary O’Dea, Clonmeen and Ted Scully, Lisduff and their families on the recent death of their mother Mrs. Josie Scully, Knock, Roscrea. Her remains were removed from her daughter Frances’ residence to Knock Church. Following funeral Mass on Wednesday last she was buried in adjoining cemetery. May she rest in peace.

COMMUNITY ALERT

Errill Community Alert committee wish to thank the local community for their continuing support and amazing generosity in their recent fundraising venture. They also wish to thank businesses in Rathdowney, Borris-in-Ossory and Roscrea who kindly supported this fundraiser.

ERRILL GAA LOTTO

The Errill GAA jackpot was not won last week. There were two match three winners, Joe Leahy, c/o Dowlings Bar and Lil O’Connor, Clonmeen. The jackpot on August 25 will be €6,000. Numbers drawn were 4, 9, 22, 27. Tickets for draw are available in Post Office, Dowling’s Bar, Ray’s Bar and from local promoters.
