ST CLARE’S HOSPITALITY

Coffee and Mince Pie Morning in aid of St Clare’s Hospitality food appeal will be held in Kelly’s Pharmacy in Graiguecullen on this Wednesday December 11 from 10.30am to 1pm.

Our Advent food appeal continues in all our Churches. We thank everyone who has contributed food and also has donated money. We are now giving out over 100 food parcels each week. Please leave non-perishable food items in the bins at the Church doors.

CHRISTMAS PARISH MONSTER BINGO

Monster Parish Christmas Bing will be held on Sunday, December 22 at 3pm in Graiguecullen Hall. Great money to be won such as all line checks €50, double lines €60 and all full house’s €150 to €200. Also Jackpot, interval and flyer on the day. Prizes left and right of winners. All welcome and bring a friend.

KILLESHIN FC

Lotto results for Sunday December 01: numbers drawn were 13, 15, 16 and 20. There was no Jackpot winner. There were four lucky dip winners; Sean Farrell, Tom, Paul, Lisa, Brigid Ryan and Elizabeth Walsh. The seller’s prize went to Mick Brennan. Next Jackpot will be €3,300

KILLESHIN PIPE BAND

COMMUNION TO THE SICK

Fr John will bring Holy Communion to the sick and housebound for Christmas in the town area on Thursday, December 12.

PARISH FINANCE COMMITTEE

Next monthly meeting this Thursday 12 December at 7pm in the Parish Centre.

ADVENT PENITENTIAL SERVICES

Advent Penitential Services will take place at all Masses on the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, December 21 and 22. Visiting priests will be present. This is a great opportunity to prepare spiritually for Christmas.

YOUTH MINISTRY SPACE

Youth Pastoral Group next meeting will take place on Wednesday 11 December at 6.45 to 7.15pm in the Parish centre.

Christmas Movie Night Party in the Parish Centre on Friday 13 from 5pm to 9pm for First to Sixth years. Dress code is Festive Onesies or PJ’s. Contact Catriona please for details etc.

Sunday School, Group 3 are on next Sunday 15 December.

CHRISTMAS PRAYER BOX

Parishioners are invited to write any special prayer or intention for Christmas and place it in the special box beside the altar in St Clare’s. These will be placed in the crib for Christmas.

SWIMMING POOL TIMETABLE

Pool will be closed on Sunday, December 15 at 4pm and will reopen on Saturday and Sunday, December 28 and 29 from 11am to 4pm and Monday 30 December from 9am to 4pm. Normal opening hours on Thursday, January 2, 2014. Specials to everyone, €3 up until 05 January. The pool committee would like to take this opportunity to wish all our customers a Happy Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.

Graiguecullen Community Games are holding their annual Christmas Goose Club on Saturday 14 December in St Fiacc’s Hall at 7.30pm. Please support.

BADMINTON CLUB

There was no Jackpot winner in the recent draw. The numbers drawn were 01, 24, 31 and 32, there was no Jackpot winner. Next Jackpot €10,000, Reserve €10,000. There was one Match 3 winner of €200, John Doyle c/o John Doyle. Sellers prize of €20 each went to Mary C Dooley, Andy Fennell and MOR.

The Charity ‘ALMAS’ ,Children affected by Aids and Poverty, is celebrating ten years of giving love to children and families. Boxes of Christmas Cards and DVD’s for sale at Parish Office and cost just €5. All money raised goes out directly to the projects.

BOCCIA PROGRAMME
