Annual May Sunday field day will be held on Sunday May 4 in Killeshin Hall and grounds at 2pm. This is the 130th anniversary of the founding of the Holy Cross Sodality. It’s the 70th anniversary of the revival of the Procession from Graiguecullen which the pipe band will lead for the 50 year in a row. Bishop Denis Nulty has accepted an invitation from the Holy Cross Sodality to walk in the procession which leaves from St Clare’s at 10.30am and celebrate 12 noon mass in Holy Cross Church.
