SOLEMN NOVENA

The Ninth Solemn Novena has begun on Monday nights and will run for nine consecutive nights. The Theme for this year’s Novena is ‘Our Faith – Our Story’ and each night of the novena a guest speaker will speak on this theme. The sixth Novena night is on Monday June 9, Fr Terrance Harrington will be the guest speaker.

FREE LIBRARY BOXES

Killeshin Community Development is going to erect outside free library boxes in the Killeshin area initially with more area’s being considered. These will work on an honesty policy of borrowing a book. We require adult and children fiction and non-fiction books in good condition. Any donations of books can be left into the Den, Killeshin

PRE-BAPTISM

Meeting for all parents who are presenting their children for baptism over the coming months will be held this Wednesday, June 4 at 7pm in the parish centre.

EIST CANCER SUPPORT

The Eist Cancer Support Centre is open on Tuesday to Thursday from 9.30am to 4pm. The centre caters for anyone who has been affected by a cancer diagnosis, their families and carers. The centre is currently running a drop in relaxation and meditation programme each Tuesday morning at 11am. Counselling and reflexology are by appointment only.
