KILLESHIN PIPE BAND
Killeshin Pipe Band are taking part in a celebration mass on Sunday 07 September at 10.15am in Holy Cross Church followed by the official opening of the new band room. Various other activities will take place during the following week and all welcome. The band will also participate at the 6.30pm mass in St Clare’s Church on Saturday 13 September.

Killeshin FC recent lotto results. Numbers drawn were 02, 06, 21 and 26. There was no winner. €25 lucky dip winners were Danny Doyle, Tom, Paul, Lisa, The 3 Amigos and Finbar Brennan. The seller’s prize went to Liam Dempsey of Clonmore. Jackpot is now stands at €7,000
It’s the start of the new season and training for ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams has commenced on Monday nights at 7.30pm and new players are very welcome. Whist night that runs on Wednesdays will take a summer break until early September and they would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who supported the whist.

The retreat will take place on Thursday 28 August in St Fiacc’s House from 10.30am to 3.30pm. The cost is €10 and this includes lunch and afternoon tea. Names and money should be handed into the Parish Centre.
We are going to celebrate our 40th anniversary of the Graiguecullen/Killeshin Lourdes Invalid Fund in 2016. In order to make it special in 2016 there will be no parish pilgrimage in 2015. As there is a lot of interest in travelling in 2016 and there are only going to be a certain number of places available, we are asking that anyone who is planning to travel please give their name and a €20 deposit to Parish Office or Ursula Hayden at the Thatch Bar.
Athletics training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in St Fiacc’s School at 6.30pm.
The Food Kitchen still giving out 120 food parcels each week. They would like to thank everyone for their continuous support through food and donations. All food donations can still be left in the food barrels at the church doors or in the parish centre.

Carlow Special Olympics Club is continuously looking for volunteers. Do you have an hour or two to spare, once a week or once a month or even just occasionally, then they would love to hear from you.
