St Paul’s LGFA

Congratulations to the U14’s Féile team who were runners up in division 2 of the Féile Peil na nÓg competition held in Connaught. The St Paul’s host team was St Croan’s, an amalgamation of clubs from Ballymoe and Ballintubber. St Pauls would like to sincerely thank all those who travelled, including members of the Emo senior GAA team, extended families and well wishers from the areas. The girls teams were also honoured to have in attendance the LGFA president elect Marie Hickey at the match in St Croan’s on Saturday morning. St Paul’s club would like to also thank that St Croan’s families who hosted the girls. St Paul’s club would also like to thank the sponsors who came on board for kitting out the team. Again many thanks to all those who sponsored, donated and fundraised on their behalf. Also to all those who met the team when they arrived back in Laois, the homecoming reception given to the team and mentors was fantastic. The mentors would also like to thanks Darren Burke (physio), whose expertise was to the fore in getting the team ready for their matches.
