There is a shave & dye fundraiser in Eamon A’ Chnoic on Saturday 19 July in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. Please support this worthy cause. Lotto bonus ball was won by Bosco Grant who won €158. The winning number was 13.

SHANAHOE PARENTS ASSOCIATION

Shanahoe Parents Association are running a skittle tournament in Shanahoe school on July 26/27 as a fundraiser for the school. Teams of four €20. There will be three categories - children, ladies and gents. Please support.

CHARITY WHIST DRIVE

A whist drive will take place in Raheen ICA hall at 9pm during the months of July & August. The first one took place on Friday last 4 July and the results were: Top score Louise Kavanagh. Best of three Bride Reilly and Dickie Byrne.

James fintan lalor

This year’s James Fintan Lalor School takes place on October 17/18 at the Dunamaise Arts Centre in Portlaoise. Speakers confirmed so far include John Lonergan, Micheál Martin, and Sean O’Rourke.
