Rehearsals for the 2014 Rathdowney pantomime Time of our Lives are at an advanced stage with the opening night Thursday April 10 fast approaching. The show which has a cast of 130 men, women and children will be staged for four nights in the Community Centre, April 10-13, with an afternoon matinee on Sunday April 13. Booking in the Card Stand. The new Rathdowney Panto, penned by Michael Creagh and Niall O Doherty is full of music and drama with a special storyIt will be well worth seeing.

The group would like to thank everyone who supported our recent coffee morning, in aid of the Laura Lynn House, which raised €265. Thanks to all who helped us celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The group meets on Friday mornings 10-12 in the Marion Centre.
The total amount raised for the Irish Cancer Society on Daffodil Day in the Rathdowney/Errill area amounted to €4,382.64 a huge Thank You to all who helped.
The winners of the Patrick White Perpetual Cup were: 3rd John Hogan 695g, 2nd Pat Noonan 750g, 1st John Murphy 1025g. No Juniors placed. The next competition will take place Sunday April 13, entries taken in the square 9-10am. Usual rules apply. There will be Fly fishing instruction for both junior and senior will be on April 26, details will be in the Leinster and on Facebook nearer the date. All welcome.
