OSSORY CYCLING CLUB

Ossory Cycling Club meet Tuesday night May 27, and every Tuesday night until end of summer months. Occ are reintroducing their A, B and leisure group cycles. Cycles will commence at 7pm sharp. Each group will have a team leader who will pick a course that will suit their group. We welcome any new leisure cyclist to join in. The leisure cycle is guaranteed to be at a pace that will suit. All are welcome to join us, juveniles must be accompanied by a an Parent or guardian. Important, helmets must be worn at all times. No helmet no cycle. Clean up

Help clean up Rathdowney, a group meet every Wednesday night at 7.30 in the square, if you can spare an hour please come along and help out. If possible bring a shovel or brush or hoe.

EASYRIDERS

A charity Texas Hold’em night will be held in Iano’s on Friday June 6, to raise funds for this year’s charity Pieta House. €20 entry and €10 buy back, cash prizes. Names can be given in advance in Ian’s or on the night.

ST VINCENT DE PAUL

The Rathdowney shop needs donations, of ladies, gents and children’s clean clothes. bags, shoes and accessories also accepted. Your donations are very much appreciated and can be dropped into the shop Vincent’s any day.

GAA LOTTO

There was no winner in this week’s Jackpot which was €2,650. The numbers drawn were 1, 17, 19, 22. The 10 winners of €15 were Ann Tynan, Peter Bergin, John Finn, Kevin Percy, Frank Smeaton, John Brophy, Anne Dowling, Mary Ellis, Michael Flanangan, Rosie Fitzpatrick. Next week’s Jackpot will be €2,800. Tickets can be purchased in all shops or from any local promoter.

DONAGHMORE MUSEUM

Summer Opening Hours from Saturday May 31, the Museum will be open all weekends and bank holidays throughout the months of June, July, August and September between the hours of 2pm to 5pm. If you wish to avail of a tour outside of these hours please phone Trevor on 086 829 6685. The Museum is on Facebook and Twitter please come and join us.

BINGO

A great Bingo is held every Tuesday Night at 8.30 in the Rathdowney Community Centre. Your support would be greatly appreciated. Bingo is run by the Community Centre Group.

ART CLASSES
