Holy Communion

Congrats to the following who received their First Holy Communion on Saturday May 3. Rosenallis NS Communion Class: Emma Corcoran, Aimee Cuddy, Martha Anna Dooley, Caoimhe Egan, Peter Foynes, John Hilliard, Barry McEvoy, David McGrath, Kiera Poole, Teri Pope and Nathan Walsh. Special thanks to Fr Walshe, Molly McCormack, Margaret McDonald and Declan Farrell, teachers Emer Doyle and Gemma Goulding and the beautiful choir led by Maurette Maher and Mary Wisley. O’Moores Camogie

The season is well underway with all teams back training. The under 14’s played Camross last week but unfortunatley were not on the winning side, however the girls put up a great fight. The girls are due to play Naomh Eamonn in their next match. The Under 16’s have won two games to date and will paly the Harps in their next match. The annual sponsored walk will take place in Glenbarrow on the 25th of May at 12 o’clock, all are welcome on the day.

Underage Presentation night in the Green School, Rosenallis at 8pm on Friday 23rd May 2014. All players and families are very welcome hope to see you all there.

KNOCK PILGRIMAGE

Mountmellick Parish will join the Kildare and Leighlin Diocesan Pilgrimage in Knock on Sunday June 1. All welcome. Bus will leave from the Parish Church at 8.15am. €10 per seat. Bookings in Parish Office now. Tel: 057/8624390.

Slieve Bloom Society

Next meeting of the Slieve Bloom Rural Development Society in Clonaslee at the heritage centre on June 4. New members welcome.

Festival of the Mountain

Festival of the Mountain is on June 29 at 1.30pm. To volunteer for the day come along to the next meeting on June 5 at 9pm. New ideas welcome.
