St Paul’s School hosted the final of Eason’s Spelling Bee recently.

5th Class teacher, Christine Redmond, decided to enter her class last year. This competition is open to all primary schools in Ireland and is for all students in 5th and 6th classes.

“It is great to take part in it and a brilliant experience for the boys and girls,” said Christine. St Paul’s were delighted to be asked to host the Laois Busy Bee Final, open to 15 schools. Patrick Solecki, who is in 5th Class in St Paul’s, came second in this prestigious competition.
