Youth theatre

Stradbally Youth Theatre along with Portlaoise Youth Theatre will be performing in the Dunamaise Arts Centre in Portlaoise on Saturday April 12, starting from 3pm. They will be performing a show called ‘Chatroom’. All are welcome to attend.

The re-scheduled annual general meeting of Vicarstown Fianna Fail Cumann will take place on Friday, April 4 at 8.30pm in the Old School, Vicarstown.

VICARSTOWN RECREATIONAL GROUP

The Vicarstown Recreational Group are holding on Wednesday, April 2 commencing at 8.15pm to discuss the annual outing.

VOLUNTEER DRIVERS

The Irish Cancer Society’s Care to Drive service is currently seeking volunteer drivers to drive patients from Laois to and from their chemotherapy treatments in the Dublin hospitals. They are looking for volunteers to pick patients up at their homes, drive them to the door of the hospital, pick them up again when they are finished their treatment and bring them home. The service is free to the patients and all dreivers expenses are paid. Phone Gail 01 2310566 or email transport@irishcancer.ie.

STRADBALLY FLOWER AND GARDEN CLUB
