Stradbally

Rev Olive Donohoue

On Sunday 6 April a large congregation gathered in St Patricks Church for the last service by Rev Olive Donohue as rector of Stradbally Union of parishes. This was followed by a lunch for parishioners & friends in St Joseph’s hall where a number of gifts were presented to her. Rev Olive was very popular with her parishioners and with the wider community where she was well known. She will be greatly missed but her legacy of involvement with St Vincent de Paul and the ‘homeless’ in particular will live on in the parish. We wish her well in her new parish of Athy.
