Thank you to all who supported the recent carol service last Saturday, the participants are to be commended on their performances. All funds raised will go towards the establishment of a visitors centre for the Round Tower.
Well done to the members of the club that arranged for Santa Claus to visit the library last Sunday, it was great for the kids to ask the man in the red coat what they want for Christmas. The club now won’t meet until the new year.
An exclusive Edwardian Christmas evening will be held in the drawing room of Stradbally Hall on Tuesday December 17 at 8pm. An evening of music, melody and verse with singers, historians and authors.
Music by the Czardas String Quartet. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served and there will be a grand prize raffle.
