TIMAHOE

GAA

The club over the next few weeks are selling the annual €130 tickets. These tickets are the backbone of the club finances, we understand that they are expensive however we appeal to your continued generosity. Tickets can be purchased from all committee members.

TIDY TOWNS

As we begin a new year we appeal to all to help keep the place clean and tidy. We would like to thank everyone over the past year who supported our fundraisers and helped out in anyway possible.

FOROIGE

Foroige will meet back on January 10 for preparation for the new year, thanks again for all continued support.

TIMAHOE

Over the last year out village has seen great changes, the highlight of which was the opening of the playground.

We also refurbished the hall internally and built an extension to the local national school, and over the next few weeks a GYM will be developed in the football field. The acquisition of the library also gives us a chance to further develop the village. All of these projects would not be possible without the support of the people of the village, the people who financially support the fundraisers and those driving the projects. As we enter 2014 please don’t shy from getting involved and giving your time on committees and helping out, it’s as important as giving money.

LAOIS HOSPICE

The Laois Hospice Foundation annual public meeting will take place on Friday January 17, at 8pm in the Killeshin Hotel, Portlaoise. Special guests on the night are Mr Sean O’Rourke, RTE and Ms Eileen Dunne, RTE. Refreshments served on the night.
