Thanks so much to all who supported the all county board draw, the monies raised will go towards the promotion of hurling and football in the village and also towards improving our facilities. We hope that we will have more winners in the draw, thanks again for your support.
Timahoe National School are having their annual cake sale on St Patrick’s Day in the community hall. The cake sale will be on after mass. Refreshments will be served. We would be most grateful for any baking. The hall will be open at 9.30am. A raffle will also take place. Please support this worthy cause.
ST PATRICKS DAY PARADE
The parade will take place at 10am on St Patrick’s morning. The usual route around the green and the beautiful village we live in. All local clubs, associations are encouraged to part take, the national school will have various displays of their achievements on display.
FIT FOR LIFE
Continues every Wednesday in the GAA field at 7.30pm.
Meeting lately and are planning trips away and preparing for achievement night on May 23.
LATE BABS COMERFORD
Deepest sympathy to family and friends of Babs Comerford, of Ballinaclough who passed away recently.
Timahoe development have been allocated €8,000 to develop a plan for the monastic site in Timahoe. We hope to open a multi functional visitors centre for the tower and encourage people to visit our heritage village. Fundraisers will be organised and your support will be needed. Volunteers will be required to assist in cleaning the area around the tower in conjunction with the council. This is exciting times for heritage lovers.
