HARD LUCK

Hard luck to Alison Miller and her Irish Rugby teammates on their World Cup semi final defeat to England last week.

Alison, of course, has very strong Timahoe connections, with her dad Bobby (RIP) lining out with distinction in the red and white of Timahoe and the blue and white of Laois. Alison is a talented athlete and we should be proud of her in Laois.

WELL DONE

Well done to Sarah Culliton Of Ballinaclough who was crowned the Steam Queen recently at the 50th anniversary of the Steam Rally.

Sarah is also a talented rugby player and a leader in the Foroige Club, well done Sarah.
