Portlaoise U-15s continued on their way towards league glory last week with two wins that moves them nine points clear of Tullamore who have a game in hand.

Birr came out for the second half in better form and dominated the first 20 minutes of the half but could not break down the Portlaoise rearguard.
On 65 minutes the Town went 3-0 ahead with the goal of the season so far when from a Sean McCormack kick out, Jack Langton sent Ronan McEvoy away on the right wing and his brilliant cross into the box was finished low into the bottom corner by a brilliant overhead kick by Fionn Scully.

This was how it finished at the end and Portlaoise Town took another important three points in their quest for three in row MSL Major Division Titles.
