After a glorious day of sunshine the rain arrived almost the moment that Maurice Deegan got this tie underway and as if to mirror the gloom Arles Kilcruise and Crettyard contrived to serve up a dismal encounter in Arles on Thursday night last.

Crettyard 4-5

The elements didn’t help, nor did the enforced absence of Kilcruise’s inter-county panellists but nonetheless this was a game that did little to provide anything positive for the drenched souls in attendance. The visitors showed that extra bit of panache up front to secure the win that concludes their middle of the road campaign while Kilcruise will hope to have a stronger panel in store for their league semi-final tie already secured despite this setback.
