Derrylamogue 1-5

.

Played under floodlights in O’Moore Park, the Clonaslee girls got off to a storming start and lead by 1-5 to 0-1 at half-time.

Shauna Mulhall lead the way with the first three points inside ten minutes and she drilled a close range free to the back of the net soon after to double her side’s lead.

Derrylamogue found it difficult to get into the game in the first-half with their only score coming from Niamh Feighrey. They added a second point early in the second-half from Kathleen Dwyer but Clonaslee hit back with interest as Mary Hyland blasted a rebound to the back of the net. Jessica Baker added a third goal soon after but to their credit, the Rosenallis girls never let their heads drop and they continued playing right up to the final whistle. Their commitment was rewarded with a goal and a point from Kathleen Dwyer and points from Niamh Feighrey and Roisin Gordon.

However Clonasell rounded off their impressive win with a fourth goal with star of the show Shauna Mulhall supplying the pass and Annie Digen finishing to the back of the net.
