The draw confirmed their place in the semi-final while Camross were left waiting for other results to determine whether they had secured a place in the last four.

Camross closed out the half on a high with two long-range efforts from centre-back, Gearoid Burke, to see them hold a narrow one-point advantage at the interval.

Camross picked up where they left off with Gilmartin, Damien Keenan, Tomas Burke, Ciaran Collier and James Palmer adding points, while Damien Bergin (2), Mick McEvoy and Aidan Corby kept Ballacolla in touch.

Camross took a four point lead approaching the final ten minutes through Gearoid Burke and Damien Keenan, but Ballacolla battled back to within a point thanks to points from Aidan Corby (2) and Willie Dunphy.
