Kilcruise maintain push for the top
Ross Munnelly on the attack for Arles Kilcruise against Alan Whelan, The Heath in the ACFL at Arles. Picture: Alf Harvey.
Arles-Kilcruise’s reliable duo of Ross Munnelly and Chris Conway provided the scores as Arles-Kilcruise maintained the pressure on Portlaoise at the top of the ACFL Division 1 table thanks to this eight point win over The Heath on Sunday.
Arles-Kilcruise 0-15
The Heath 0-7
Conway and Munnelly hit nine points between them over the course of the hour, and the clinical touch both players displayed was the missing ingredient for The Heath. They enjoyed plenty of possession but couldn’t break through the stout Kilcruise defence, and this defeat means they remain firmly in the relegation mire.
