Laois manager Tomás O Flatharta has made two changes to his side for this Sunday’s NFL clash with Louth, as Paul Begley, Robbie Kehoe and Conor Meredith come into the team.

The inexperienced duo of Adam Ryan and Evan O’Carroll miss out, while Denis Booth’s red card means he will sit this one out also. Paul Begley comes in at centre-back, allowing Padraig McMahon to revert to his more natural position at wing-back, which has forced out Adam Ryan. Robbie Kehoe comes in as a straight swap for Booth at corner-back, while Conor Meredith comes in at full-forward, in place of O’Carroll. Meredith had missed the opening league game due to a suspension hanging over him from the game against Donegal in the Qualifiers last year.

Graham Brody retains his place between the posts, while Donie Kingston will start at centre-forward once again, and John O’Loughlin and Kevin Meaney remain the midfield partnership. Laois will be hoping to avenge last year’s defeat to Louth in the Leinster SFC.

Laois team in full: Graham Brody; Robbie Kehoe, Mark Timmons, Peter O’Leary; Darren Strong, Paul Begley, Padraig McMahon; Kevin Meaney, John O’Loughlin; James Finn, Donie Kingston, Billy Sheehan; Ross Munnelly, Conor Meredith, David Conway.
