Bonus point for Portarlington away to Clondalkin

Portarlington picked up another losing bonus point but will be disappointed with their performance last Sunday in Clondalkin.

Portarlington created some very good chances in the first 20 minutes but failed to convert .

Clondalkin scored a good try after breaking down the blind side and followed up with a quick penalty.

Kieran Hyland responded with two excellent kicks for Port.
The conditions and field rapidly deteriorated leading to a lot of errors from both teams. At half time Clondalkin lead 13-6.
In the second half Port battled on with some strong runs from Mark Petriw and Stephen Oakley .

Port welcomed back Kieran Kiely at full back and he was very solid at the back which was needed in the cold and wet conditions.
Port pressured their opponents in the last 10 minutes but it was not enough to snatch a draw.

Best for Port on the day were Joander Brazon, Petriw, Oakley, and Ross Doyle.
