Action from the Portlaoise U-15s win over Kilkenny

Portlaoise were at Home to Kilkenny in the Leinster U-15 league last Saturday.

Portlaoise put Kilkenny under pressure from the start. The game was played at full speed and with some great individual performances.

Portlaoise defended well with a great all round performance from the full panel with the full bench being used .

Portlaoise went into the half time break with a 24 points to 7 lead.

Kilkenny came out very strong in the second half and the Portlaoise team showed great composure to hold their lead.

Portlaoise had to defend their own line for the last five minutes despite pressure from a very strong Kilkenny side.

This was one of the best performances this year from this Portlaoise side.

Great credit is due to this panel of players for their commitment and attendance at training. The team are travelling to see Leinster next Saturday as a reward for their efforts.
