The A team travelled to Abbeyleix on Sunday and came home with the points following a 2-1 win and a boost to their fight to stay in the Premier Division.

Derek Beale opened the scoring on 14 minutes with a free-kick. Abbeyleix equalised before the break but in the second half substitute Jody Dillion got the winner two minutes into injury time with a thunderous shot from 25 yards to round off an excellent team display with Daragh Mullhall, Conor Delaney and Bill Kelly standing out.
