Stradbally boost survival hopes

Stradbally gave their survival hopes in the Premier Divison a boost with a good away win in Gainstown on Sunday morning.

Jody Dillon skinned the home defence to put Stradbally 1-0 up after 27 minutes and the visitors deservedly led at the break.

Dillon made it 2-0 from the penalty spot on 57 minutes and Derek Beale rounded off the scoring on 75 minutes s after a well worked short corner with his brother Colin.

Stradbally had fine displays from Colin Beale, Damien Murphy and Man of The Match Jody Dillon
