The group currently have about 100 members coming to practice every week, and teaching them is a high calibre group of well regarded musicians. They meet every Tuesday evening in St Paul’s School on the Borris Road, but as well as this, they often travel to meet other Comhaltas branches, and in turn host groups in Portlaoise.

This summer group members will be taking part in a seisuin every Thursday in Kavanaghs, starting from June 28. Email portlaoisecce@gmail.com to find out more.
