Facefest takes place in aid of Charleville Castle

Facefest is taking place this Saturday June 21 on the summer solstice, at Charleville Castle near Tullamore.

The music, arts and heritage festival will be raising funds to help restore the castle itself.

Music at the festival will include In The Willows, My Fellow Sponges, Animal Beats, Dem Fools and Fat Baby Panda.

Other entertainment will include ‘Grove of Tranquility’ workshops, a medieval zone, the child-friendly ‘Tir na nOg’ zone, a spoken word corner and the Republic of Astronomy.

Did you ever say to a friend you reconnected with “Hey we should meet up” and never do? Now is your chance. Facefest was born from exactly this idea. A chance to meet your friends in reality.

Meet up, share your news, play some games, listen to some cool music and generally catch up.

There is a limit on tickets available for Facefest with free camping.

It is family friendly with activities around the castle grounds and music being performed live all day from 12pm until midnight.
