Portlaoise music fans will be delighted to hear that two Irish heavyweights will be performing at the Frank’s Shed music festival later this summer.

Kila and Kerbdog will be performing at the festival which takes place in Kavanaghs on Friday August 8 and Saturday August 9.

Franks’s Shed has very successfully been recording musical acts both from Laois and around the country for the past couple of years. As well as getting top class acts into their Portlaoise studio, the lads have also been organising some stomping music gigs for fans to dust their dancing shoes to.

The festival was first held last summer and attracted large crowds to the venue, and this year is set to be bigger and better. As well as the two headlining acts, there will also be music on both evenings by Savage Jimbreen, The Cujo Family, Lore, Gigabyte, The Perfect Skins, Red Dancers Cometh, Able Archer, The Crow Flies, and New Valley Wolves.

Day tickets are priced at €25, and weekend tickets are priced at €45, and are available now from the venue.
