Kathleen previously exhibited a very successful exhibition of her work in Abbeyleix in 2010. Both Kathleen and Deirdre are having an opening night from 6pm to 7pm on Thursday July 17 in Abbeyleix library. All are welcome to attend and enjoy wine or sparkling water and nibbles while viewing their collection.
Kathleen teaches arts and crafts through Laois, Offaly and North Tipperary VECs, as well as Ladies Clubs, ICA groups, Active Retirement groups and the Wheelchair Association.
Kathleen’s daughter, Deirdre Lynch took inspiration for her art from growing up in the foothills of the Slieve Bloom mountains. Deirdre, who now resides at the foothills of the Dublin mountains, has just completed a two year course in NCAD.
The exhibition can be viewed in Abbeyleix library from now until July 31.
