Port’s queen is crowned, now the search is on for a mayor and mayoress

Portarlington Lions Club, in conjunction with the French Festival Committee, is running a competition to nominate a mayor or mayoress of Portarlington.

On they mayoress side, Noreen Mooney is the choice of Port GAA while Deirdre Doyle is running for Gracefield GAA. Fiona O’Brien Stynes is nominated by Banríon Gaels Camogie Club while Jackie Dunne represents Kestrels Basketball Club. Bernie Hurley is senior citizens committee representative.
