This year’s story is “Jack and the Beanstalk “ but with a little turn and twist here and there, combined with a few surprises. Directed by Paul Laycock,

with Musical Director Dale Hennessey, Choreographer Denise Donoghue, and a cast of over fifty (including twenty junior chorus) rehearsals are now in full swing for what promises to be a spectacular start to the new year for all panto lovers.

With a superb chorus , senior dancers, and junior dancers, all playing the parts of , courtiers, villagers, peasants, and many more, contributing to the continuity of the actions of all the main characters, who will be introduced by our narrator Anastasia (Vikki Byrne) and will feature as follows, Jack Spratt , (Alex Cathcart) the hero and maybe not so experienced cattle dealer. Ma Spratt (Damien Halpin) the Dame and Jack’s poor oul mammy. Jill (Zeta O’Reilly) the local teacher and Jack’s
lovely sweetheart. Baron
Bluff (Noel Tuohy) Jill’s kindly dad and slightly failed businessman. Sally (Jayne Louise Kelly) Jill’s best friend. Twink (Ciara Conroy) Jack’s beloved cow. Hale (Christy Bannon ) and Hearty (Rory Chadwick) two local boyos who will do anything for a few
euro. Boris Bogov (John McEvoy) a very evil baddie and Mildred
(Joan White) his equally evil sidekick. Disco Stu (Paul Kenna) a self loving super hero.

The Giant (PJ Mulhall) a BIG sleepy, hungry fellow with an appetite for Irish(man) stew. Amy (Lynda Byrne) the Giant’s nervous but helpful wife.
