The dedicated team at the Heritage Hotel and Spa in Killenard were honoured with four separate awards at the second annual Irish Hotel Awards.
Representatives from hotels across Ireland came together in the luxurious setting of The Heritage Hotel to celebrate the achievements of the industry.
The Irish Hotel Awards aim to recognise and celebrate the commitment of the Irish hospitality industry to provide exceptional guest experiences, to deliver and to maintain the highest standard of hospitality the country has to offer.
This commitment to the hospitality industry was on display on the evening in The Heritage where head chef Ian Clifford along with his kitchen and events team worked tirelessly to deliver an excellent event with exceptional service and delicious food in beautiful surroundings.
At the awards ceremony John Kelly, Eva Byrne and John Paul Donegan of The Heritage were awarded Best Conference & Banqueting Manager, Best Spa Manager and Best Concierge respectively.
To add another feather to their hat, the hotel itself won Best Bar Hotel in Leinster.
Following on from their success at the IASI awards last February where they won the Gold and Supreme Award, all the staff at The Heritage are honoured and thrilled to have won four awards at the ceremony on Tuesday.
All the staff at The Heritage have continuously worked together to maintain the highest standards of hospitality for the professional five star hotel.
General Manager Andrew Phelan is delighted.
“I am delighted and very proud of the whole team here at The Heritage Killenard who always give their all for the guests, and it was even more wonderful to host the event and see how our team can deliver such a wonderful evening that everyone thoroughly enjoyed,” he said.
The Heritage Hotel & Spa opened its doors in June 2005 is located in Killenard near Portarlington.
The hotel is also very popular venue for events organised by local groups and clubs.
The hotel was recently put on the market.
