The Sam Maguire was hoisted proudly in Laois recently, thanks to a visit by Denis Bastick back to his parents' county, where children from Killanure NS and Camross NS, as well as local clubs, gave him a warm welcome.
His father, also Denis, hails from Coolrain and his Mother Imelda (nee Cuddy) is from Aughduff, Camross.
Denis was accompanied by his son Aidan, his mother Imelda and members of the extended Cuddy and Bastick family.
