Secondary school students at Laois school in Ballinakill presented with achievement awards
A great sense of achievement was in the air at Heywood Community School in Laois recently at the annual awards presentation night.
Students, teachers and parents took part in what is a celebration of the high standards reached by many students of the school in a wide range of fields, academic, sporting, creative, leadership and much more besides.
Photographer Alf Harvey went along to the even at the Ballinakill school for the Leinster Express to take a selection of pictures of the many award winners on the night.
